Adobe Director

Information Technology Bengaluru, India

Description

The Adobe Solutions Director is the strategic leader and subject matter expert for Adobe Experience Cloud solutions at Rightpoint. You will craft innovative, multi-solution proposals that demonstrate how Adobe’s platform and AI capabilities can drive transformative business outcomes for our clients.
You’ll align Adobe solutions with client needs in Marketing, Digital Commerce, and Customer Experience, accelerating content supply chains, personalizing customer journeys, and delivering ROI-backed value. You will also guide our internal teams and partner closely with Adobe to define and advance Rightpoint’s go-to-market strategy. Success in this role is measured by growth in Adobe-related pipeline and wins, the quality of solution strategies delivered, and the enablement of teams to execute those solutions for high client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Solution Development & Sales Enablement
  • Solution Strategy & Value Articulation: Collaborate with clients’ executives (CMO, CTO, CDO) and Rightpoint/Adobe sales teams to understand business goals and pain points. Define tailored Adobe Experience Cloud solutions that address these goals – for example, improving content velocity, increasing campaign conversion, or enabling omnichannel personalization. Translate technical capabilities into executive-friendly value stories, clearly outlining how the proposed solution will increase revenue, reduce costs, or enhance customer/employee experience. Develop strategic roadmaps and vision decks that align Adobe technology with the client’s long-term business objectives, using benchmarks and KPIs to substantiate the impact.
  • AI-Enabled Solution Design: Infuse AI and automation into all solution proposals. Leverage Adobe’s AI and emerging tools like Adobe Firefly for generative content to demonstrate cutting-edge innovation. Advise clients on how AI can automate content workflows, personalize experiences in real-time, and provide predictive insights. Identify opportunities to integrate generative AI, machine learning, or analytics that will differentiate Rightpoint’s solutions. Ensure you stay current on AI trends in digital marketing and can speak to “AI-powered content supply chain” improvements.
  • Pre-Sales Enablement & Proposal Leadership: Act as the lead solution architect in the sales cycle for Adobe-focused opportunities. Work with account executives to qualify opportunities, then drive the solutioning process: facilitating discovery workshops, crafting compelling proposals and RFP responses, building demo narratives, and scoping the effort. Produce high-impact presentations and product demos that are customized to each client’s industry and priorities – for instance, demonstrating an AEM Sites solution in context of the client’s customer journey. Ensure all proposals are feasible (scope, timeline, budget) by coordinating with engineering teams to validate implementation approaches and effort estimates. Your goal is to increase win rate by delivering proposals that are both creative and credible.
  • Client Advisory & Workshops: Frequently engage with clients in an advisory capacity. Lead vision workshops, content strategy assessments, or solution envisioning sessions that help clients shape their roadmap. Provide consultative guidance that positions Rightpoint as a trusted advisor—listening to client challenges and co-creating future state solutions, not just “selling a product.”.
Go-to-Market & Thought Leadership
  • Understanding of Adobe’s AI Roadmap: Stay up to date on Adobe’s AI offerings and weave them into proposals. You should be capable of envisioning AI use cases within Adobe implementations.
  • Thought leader both internally and externally for Adobe solutions. Contribute to Rightpoint’s Adobe GTM strategy with specific focus on AI in the Content Supply Chain Create and publish content that showcases Rightpoint’s expertise: author whitepapers, blog posts, or webinar presentations. Represent Rightpoint at industry events and Adobe partner forums as a speaker or panelist, strengthening our brand as an Adobe thought leader. Internally, educate and brief our consulting, design, and engineering teams on Adobe’s evolving capabilities and how they can be applied to solve client challenges.
  • Partnership & Ecosystem Leadership: Act as Rightpoint’s Adobe ecosystem champion. Maintain a deep understanding of Adobe’s product roadmap (new releases, beta programs, Adobe’s broader experience platform strategy) and translate that into opportunities for Rightpoint and our clients. Liaise with Adobe partner managers and technical teams regularly to stay aligned on joint go-to-market activities and to advocate for our clients’ needs. Drive Rightpoint’s participation in Adobe programs (e.g., Adobe Summit presentations, Experience Maker awards submissions) to increase our visibility. Internally, work with our Talent Enablement to encourage Adobe certifications and skills development.
  • Data & Insight Orientation: Comfort with data-driven storytelling. You’ll often use data to reinforce the value of AI-enhanced Adobe solutions (e.g., citing how much faster content can go to market with an AI-assisted workflow, using benchmarks from Adobe or industry research). You know how to work with analysts to incorporate insights or ROI models into your value proposition (for instance, projecting marketing ROI improvement from personalization achieved through Adobe + AI).
  • Change Management for AI Adoption: Recognize that introducing Agentic AI involves change management. Advise clients on how to prepare their teams for new AI-driven processes and include training or governance in the solution as part of their Agentic Transformation.
Collaboration & Learning
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure our Adobe solutions are holistic and integrated. Partner with Rightpoint’s UX/UI designers, data analysts, and technical architects in the solution design phase to incorporate their insights – for example, ensuring the proposed AEM Sites implementation aligns with a user-centric design approach and has analytics tracking built-in. Coordinate with other Solution Directors when crafting cross-platform experiences. Many projects blend technologies, so you’ll ensure that Adobe components harmonize with CRM systems, eCommerce platforms, or custom applications in the overall architecture.
  • Internal Enablement & Continuous Improvement: Mentor and coach other team members on solution selling and Adobe domain knowledge. Collaborate with Delivery teams after wins to hand off context and ensure the promised vision is carried through implementation, gathering feedback on how our pre-sales estimates and approach panned out. Use these learnings to refine our solution playbooks and estimation models. Continuously refine Rightpoint’s sales assets, demos, and accelerators related to Adobe.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

  • Adobe Experience Cloud Mastery: Deep expertise in Adobe Experience Cloud solutions – especially Adobe Experience Manager (Sites and Assets), Adobe Workfront, and Adobe GenStudio. You should understand how these products interconnect to enable a content supply chain, and be familiar with other Adobe offerings like Target, Analytics, and Journey Optimizer. Hands-on experience implementing or architecting these solutions is a strong plus, as is knowledge of Adobe’s AI capabilities and upcoming features.
  • Solution Consulting & Pre-Sales Experience: 5+ years in a solution consulting, pre-sales, or digital strategy role (or equivalent delivery role with heavy client-facing solution design). Proven track record of shaping and winning large-scale digital experience projects – from initial discovery through proposal and SOW. You excel at taking ambiguous business problems and structuring a clear, compelling solution. Experience in content strategy, marketing operations, or digital transformation consulting is highly relevant, as this role requires understanding both technology and the operational context (e.g., marketing workflows, digital content production challenges).
  • AI and Digital Innovation Mindset: Demonstrated enthusiasm for and knowledge of AI, automation, and emerging tech in the digital experience space. You don’t need to be a data scientist, but you should be conversant in how AI is transforming content creation and customer experiences. Experience working with AI-driven marketing tools or leading initiatives that involve automation is expected. Crucially, you can envision “what’s next” for clients and incorporate that into solution plans, positioning Rightpoint as an innovator.
  • Executive Presence & Communication: Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with high emotional intelligence. You can inspire confidence and excitement in roomfuls of executive stakeholders as well as technical teams. This includes strong presentation skills (visual and verbal), the ability to handle tough questions gracefully, and skills in workshop facilitation: guiding senior clients toward consensus on solution vision). You are a credible advisor and active listener who can adapt your style, technical when needed, but also adept at simplifying and framing information for non-technical audiences.
  • Collaboration & Leadership: Team-oriented leader who thrives in a collaborative consulting environment. Able to lead cross-functional solution teams without formal authority, coordinating strategists, UX, engineers, and third-party partners towards a unified proposal. You should be comfortable working in a matrix with Sales, Delivery, and Partner Alliance colleagues. A “bridge builder” mindset is key. Experience in an agency or consulting firm is valuable, given the need to juggle multiple opportunities and dynamic teams.
  • Self-Starter with Organizational Savvy: The role calls for someone entrepreneurial and proactive, comfortable navigating ambiguity. You should have the discipline to manage your own time and priorities across multiple pursuits, and the initiative to develop new ideas or pursue new prospects with minimal guidance. At the same time, you exercise sound judgment on when to involve others and how to align with broader company strategy.
  • Domain Familiarity: Familiarity with marketing operations, content management workflows, and digital marketing trends (e.g., headless content, DAM best practices, agile marketing). You understand the common challenges our clients face, such as content silos, slow campaign execution, inconsistent customer experiences, and how to address them. Knowledge of digital transformation frameworks or experience with competitors in the DXP space (Sitecore, Optimizely, Salesforce, etc.) is a plus. While Adobe expertise is primary, being able to advise why an Adobe approach is the right fit (versus others) strengthens your value.
  • Adobe certifications such as Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) in AEM (Sites or Assets) or Workfront Core Expert are highly preferred, demonstrating depth of platform knowledge. If you hold Adobe Master certifications or have been recognized as an Adobe Experience Maker awards finalist, be sure to highlight it.
  • Certifications or coursework in cloud architecture (AWS/Azure) or related MarTech (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud) are a plus, indicating a broad ecosystem understanding.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required; MBA or relevant Master’s degree (e.g., in Marketing, Information Systems, or Business Analytics) is beneficial given the strategic and cross-functional nature of the role.
  • Prosci or similar Change Management certification can be a plus, reflecting ability to guide organizational adoption (since this role often touches on changing how marketing teams work).
  • Ongoing learning is valued – e.g., if you have completed AI in Marketing online courses or obtained an AI-related certification, it reinforces the AI-ready mindset we seek.

Success Metrics?

  • Sales Impact: Growth in Adobe Experience Cloud-related sales – measured by influenced pipeline and deal wins. For example, aiming for double-digit percentage increase in Adobe pipeline year-over-year, and improved win rate on key pursuits (with feedback from sales that your contributions were instrumental).
  • Client Value Delivered: The quality of solution crafted should translate into high client satisfaction. Post-sale, we’ll look at feedback from clients (did our proposal set the right vision?), and down the line, referenceability of clients (are they willing to speak about the solution value?). Successful solutions should also lead to follow-on phase opportunities or cross-sell, indicating we hit the mark.
  • Thought Leadership & Practice Growth: Internally, the Adobe practice should strengthen. Metrics might include number of consultants achieving Adobe certifications (with your mentorship), new service offerings or accelerators developed under your guidance, and recognition (e.g., Adobe partner awards, speaking engagements). Externally, your thought leadership might be measured by content views, event engagements, or simply elevating Rightpoint’s profile (e.g., clients mentioning that our thought leadership influenced them to engage us).
  • Collaboration & Leadership: We value 360-feedback. Peers and team members should view you as a go-to leader who elevates those around them. Positive feedback from Sales (e.g., “helps me win deals”), from Delivery (e.g., “sets projects up for success”), and from Partners (e.g., “a strong champion of the Adobe alliance”) will indicate you are excelling in the role. Additionally, seeing complex joint solution efforts come to fruition (such as a multi-platform deal where you coordinated various teams) will be a testament to your collaboration skills.
